Morning Musume ’22 (モーニング娘。 ’22), also known as Morning Musume (モーニング娘。), are a Japanese female idol group. They are the lead group of Hello! Project. They currently consist of 12 members: Fukumura Mizuki, Ikuta Erina, Ishida Ayumi, Oda Sakura, Nonaka Miki, Makino Maria, Haga Akane, Yokoyama Reina, Kitagawa Rio, Okamura Homare, Yamazaki Mei and Sakurai Rio. They released a demo single on November 3, 1997 and debuted on January 28, 1998 with 5 members.
