Super Band (Reality Show) Profile: Super Band Facts
SuperBand (슈퍼밴드) was a 2019 reality survival show produced by JTBC. The show brings together different indie musicians to perform covers and original songs in teams. After the elimination process, the bands created with the remaining contestants compete against each other and the winning group gets a chance to debut. SuperBand invites independent musicians to create original harmonies together as a band.Once each musician passes the preliminary rounds, the contestants will form a band of their own choosing and compete against each other. Once the members of the losing team are eliminated, the remaining contestants form a new set of bands for the next round of battle. The last 4 bands are heading to the final live show the winning band will be able to release an album, embark on a world tour and win 100 thousand dollars. The show was created by JTBC , broadcast from April 12 to July 12, 2019 with 14 episodes of 80 minutes in length.
